Prostar GPC20-12 best long life lead carbon agm battery 12v 20ah is an evolution of the traditional, tried & tested, VRLA AGM lead acid technology.
Lead carbon batteries are different from other types of batteries because they combine the high energy density of a battery and the high specific power of a supercapacitor in a single low-cost device. The primary goals of lead carbon research have been to extend the cycle lives of lead-acid batteries and increase their power.
In a lead carbon agm battery, carbon is added to the negative plate which results in a much longer life. In fact, the added carbon gives the battery electrode many of the properties of a super-capacitor, which improves charge and discharge performance.
